Speedy Fix sent Paul to replace cartridge in my leaky bathroom tap along with the valves to be able to cut the water off to it. Turned out I needed a new tap, which I needed to order online in order to match. Paul kindly agreed to return once the tap had arrived. No change to quote. He also fitted the new waste that came with the tap at no extra cost. Unfortunately, in getting to the pipework the basin stand was moved which damaged the sealant round the bottom. Paul tried to replace it but used a much lighter grey, meaning it will need to be redone. It’s a shame, but one of those things.

The company rang first thing in the morning and I had someone round by 11.30am. He explained the issue, gave me a quote, which I agreed to, and then went to buy the part. Work was completed a short time after.

The plumber arrived several hours later than expected and introduced himself as Speedyfixers, even though the first approach was from First Call Services. It was very confusing. He was very pleasant and fixed the problem and left. The job was paid for over the phone before the job was finished. There is a one year guarantee with the work completed.

Work was carried out professionally and in a timely manner. Paul explained what was he was doing each step of the way and made some very helpful suggestions to improve the fitting. I'm very happy with the end result and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
