Great experience with these guys - job posted 9pm, fixed by 1pm the following day, friendly and professional staff, reasonable fee, would use again.

Speedyfix were excellent when we needed a plumber to sort out a leaking shower. All other companies refused to come out to assess the situation, they wanted to railroad us into having the work done without a prior quote. Jim at Speedyfix arranged for Paul to come over quickly at the arranged time to give us an estimate. The price was very fair and he carried out the work promptly and efficiently. Paul then returned to fix another small problem at no extra charge. I can highly recommend Speedyfix for their work, their friendly positive attitude and for turning up when they say they will.

Was contacted quickly by Jim after the posting the issue we had. He advised that he could get Justin out to us within 2-3hours. Justin arrived promptly to discuss and diagnose the problem with us and provided multiple options to fix the problem at different price points. Justin and Jim came back to us in about 10-15 minutes with a quote which we accepted and work began. From posting the job at 7:30am to being completed by 2pm they worked quickly and efficiently. The job might not have been the most difficult but the location of the issue made the job 10x harder yet they worked for a solution!

The toilet was fixed successfully with replacement siphon, float valve and donut, of which I cannot criticise. He finished it in over in less than an hour. What I have been told by other plumbers and independent quotes is that I was ripped off with the costs of £345. As an 80 year old and naive on costing, I accepted as my disabled wife insisted on it being done.

They were very responsive and Justin came out quickly to identify and fix a leak. The work carried out was redoing the mastic in two showers. The results unfortunately were quite poor, a messy finish and half completed work upon later inspection (for example the mastic in some places was put over the top of old mastic which it shouldn’t have been and in others was only half completed). £375 is also a crazy price for the results we got (wouldn’t have minded if it was a decent job). They said they’d send an invoice but never did too.
