Jay provided clear, detailed, and fairly priced advice for boarding our loft. The excellent work started fast and was completed with minimal mess, avoiding disturbance to my partner working from home. They removed all waste as promised. First job raised on CheckaTrade, needed a gutter repairing after damage (assuming this happened in recent storm). Jay was professional, reasonably priced and clear with a method on how to carry out the repair between our new plastic guttering and the neighbor's older style asbestos gutter. I recently hired Spartan Building services to carry out some much-needed repointing to our house and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. From start to finish the whole process was smooth, professional, and hassle-free. They arrived on time, assessed the work thoroughly and explained exactly what needed to be done. They were very transparent about the costs and timelines and everything was as promised. The repointing itself was completed to a high standard to each section of the house. I can’t say the same for the scaffold company that removed the scaffold who were unprofessional.

Right from the quote, to the lead up and during the works, Jay was communicative throughout. The timescale he quoted for, is the time he completed it in. We needed Jay in due to the house needing a full re-point, plus some other extras. Jay advised of ways to make the quote cheaper and did more than we expected. Throughout the work Jay turned up when he said he would and was a solid worker day in day out, taking care to clean up throughout. No need to look elsewhere for a builder, did a fantastic job that's got the attention of others on the street. 10/10.

From quote through to completion, Jay was friendly, professional, reliable and knowledgeable. Jay repointed our semi detached house, bricked up old windows, and flaunched our chimney. He has an exceptional eye for detail, and his quality of work was outstanding. He kept our neighbours informed of dusty works, cleaned up at the end of every day, and generally respected our property. He turned up every day, communicated often, and kept us up to date of his progress and his plan. I can't recommend Jay highly enough - I have even passed his details on to my parents for some work on their house.
