As a widow in my 80’s with mobility issues, any unexpected problem with the house is worrying and stressful. When my solar panels (installed 2010) stopped recording any generation I found Billy’s outstanding reviews online. Wow were they accurate ! What a lovely, amazing guy ! He immediately found and fixed the problem, did a complete health check and explained everything. He took photos of all relevant equipment in the attic and sent them to my iPad. I found him friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He made the experience pleasant and reassuring. Solar problem ? No one better ! 🤗

I bought a Solar system from a third party who contracted Billy to do the installation. I found him to be very professional and knowledgeable. The work was carried out quickly and efficiently and the system was installed in a day. All rubbish was removed and my house was left clean and Tidy 9 months on I have had a few problems with the equipment and was getting no help from supplier. I contacted Billy. I used the chechatrade app to get in touch with 3 companies and Billy from Southern Solar Solutions replied very quickly. After discussion about the possible cause of the fault, he offered to come out the same day to have a look. dc and Ac switches but these were ok, so he deduced the fault must be with the panels or their wiring, or the inverter itself. He was determined to keep looking and thought to check the wiring from the inverter to the panels that went through the roof first. Bingo! One of the wires had worn through which he fixed. All working properly again. Great quick service.

This is a truly fabulous company. The owner, Billy Sweeney is absolutely brilliant! Great pricing, great customer service, fantastic communications, excellent workmanship, really friendly & knows what he is doing! My installation was totally botched by the original company, Fortuna, but Billy has fully corrected all of the original problems & I now have the system that I should have had from the beginning. Had a full system installed 13 months ago, all to a very high standard and extremely happy with this installer. Noticed a fault light showing on the battery this morning (Saturday). Sent a text to Billy and got an immediate reply. Following some remote checks Billy insisted on driving nearly two hours to visit and investigate fault. Diagnosed a faulty breaker that was preventing the battery from working. Replaced component and remained on site until he was satisfied that the battery was operating correctly. Fantastic service, above and beyond expectations on a weekend. Well Done!!
