We had a really good experience with Nick. We needed our wall ties replacing, and he did a good job explaining how the existing ties would be isolated and how the remedial ties worked. He was friendly and professional, completing the work and doing a very neat job. We had a concrete base laid in our garden for a new shed, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. The workmanship was fantastic, and everything was completed to a very high standard. What impressed us most was how helpful the team was. They didn’t just lay the base and leave; they also helped us move the shed into place and offered plenty of extra help and advice along the way. Welcome to Southern Repointing Services (SRS), a specialist property repair and maintenance company with 20 years of hands-on experience.
My experience in the trade began at just 14 years old, working alongside my father. That’s where I learned the importance of good preparation, traditional methods, attention to detail and, most importantly, doing a job properly. Those values are still at the heart of SRS today.
Repointing and masonry work are our core specialities, including traditional lime mortar repointing, heritage pointing and the maintenance and repair of older and heritage properties. We understand that older buildings often require a different approach to modern construction, and we take pride in carrying out sympathetic repairs that complement the existing property.
