I needed my stairlift fixed as for 13 days it had been out of action and I’d been let down by the installers. Lance knew the stairlift I had and after explaining the problem he was able to give me a rough idea of what the likely problem was, an idea if it was what the likely cost would be. This was the Sat I phoned and I was given an appointment for the following Tuesday and more importantly a time as I’d sat in all day for my previous engineers to attend and they didn’t.

The stairlift was installed very quickly and efficiently within 2 days of placing the order. The fitters stayed until we were familiar and completely happy with the operation of the stairlift

Contacted Southdown Stairlifts for advice about the possibility of a stair lift being suitable for my property. The managing director visited me the same day who explained thoroughly every detail about the stair lift that would be suitable with absolutely no sale pressure. Took measurements there and then and arranged installation the next day. Engineer arrived at the time stated and installed the stair lift for me and was extremely professional throughout. I would have no hesitation in recommending Southdown Stairlifts to anyone who requires advice or installation of a stair lift.

I called Hugh late on Friday afternoon, and he undertook to arrange for an engineer to attend on Monday afternoon. The engineer arrived as promised, and after inspection he informed me and gave a quotation, and I authorised the work. Less than an hour later, lift operating, job done, site cleaned and tidied, and cost was less than quoted, at a fraction of main dealer prices.

Very pleased with the stairlift. It is working very well. The quotation was done and there was no pressure to purchase. Instalation went well. The installers were very clean and thorough. Explained how it worked slowly, with no rush. Very pleased. I wish we had had it six month's before.
