  We contacted Steven out of hours and were relieved to hear him answer - a lot of locksmiths say they provide an out of hours service, but then seem uncontactable during this time. Steven attended quickly, when he said he would, gave updates on his journey to us, and was able to fix our door quickly and for a reasonable price. He was friendly and helpful and we are definitely going to keep his number incase we need a locksmith again.

  Mending door stuck shut

  Same day house security restored by S Dorset Locksmiths

  On Saturday I found I had a problem with an outside door - the levers would not retract so the door could not be closed or locked. I contacted South Dorset Locksmiths Sat midday and Steve said he could be with me by 5.00pm, which he was. The repair needed a new lock mechanism which he didn't have to hand so he fitted a temporary fix so the the house could be secure, ordered the new party on Monday and returned Tues late afternoon to complete the final fix, after a dash back from earlier work in Portsmouth. All done with great efficiency and good humour despite a punishing amount of other work

  Steve is honest, genuine, reasonably priced and did a fantastic job replacing our window handles and fixing a conservatory door. He came out within the same day. Fab service 🙂
