  Oven repair - new element fitted

  Within a couple of hours of my looking on Checkatrade for someone to repair my oven, South Coast Oven Repairs came to my rescue. Although the light had been coming on, the oven didn't heat up, and it turned out that it needed a new element. After checking all the details carefully, a new element was fitted; my cooker is a Belling, and Scott had Belling parts in his van, so there was no delay. He explained to me about the cause of damage to the element, how to avoid it, and what I must do after the fitting. He and his assistant did a great job, and I was so grateful my oven was working again!

  Oven repair - new element fitted

  South Coast Oven Repairs came to my rescue within a few hours of my searching on the Checkatrade website for someone to repair my Belling oven, as the light was coming on, but it didn't get hot. It needed a new element, and after all details were taken a new one was fitted right away, as they carried parts for Belling cookers in the van. It was explained to me what causes an element to break down, and how to avoid it - very helpful! - also what to do after the fitting. The cost was very reasonable, and I would recommend this firm to anyone; it was a job well done!

  Start to finish Scott was beyond amazing and everything I could wish for! Another local engineer let us down repeatedly and I found solace by finding Scott, best thing I did, and he came within a couple hours. Absolute god send. Will take care of everything including disposing of your old appliance. Just so happens to be the nicest man ever as a bonus. Look no further than this gem of a professional! Will always use him in future. A+
