  Very good experience with South Coast Damp Proofing, I recommend them 100% and in fact, I have already shared their contact details with several friends who need work done in their homes. After having work carried out with another company two years ago to try and solve a damp problem in a room at home, the damp came back. I contacted several companies and asked for quotes, South Coast Damp Proofing gave me the most comprehensive quote and the most confidence in terms of knowing the problem they were dealing with and offering the best possible solution.

  Damp proofing internal walls

  Paul was prompt to visit and provide a quotation, he advised clearly of the waiting time for getting the job done. Ash came and did the work with helpers on a couple of occasions, there were some unavoidable delays but I was kept up to date on when they could come. When a problem was identified Paul was clear on what needed to be done and quickly updated the quote. Ash was friendly and helpful, he kept the house remarkably clean particularly as walls were hacked off. The job was nicely finished off.

  Damp proofing interior bedroom wall and making good brickwork

  We engaged Paul to make good damaged plaster due to damp, and further damp proof the wall. When the plaster was removed, part of the wall (made of ‘bungaroosh’) fell out, necessitating brickwork repair and reinforcement with supports. Paul and his craftsmen worked slowly but surely in to ensure adequate drying between stages. The plastering was excellent. They replaced the window sill and skirting board, hired an electrician to rewire plugs and repainted. They even refitted the adjacent carpet. They were helpful and polite throughout and kept us updated.
