  I have had James do several jobs for me now and I am so glad to have found him. I cannot sing his praises enough. He will always return your call and is reliable and honest. But saying all that he is an excellent tradesmen and I would be happy to recommend him.

  Erecting blinds and wardrobes

  DO NOT USE THIS PERSON FOR ANY WORKS. He has completely ruined a £379 wardrobe today. See attached photos. I am so angry and upset that this man calls himself a handyman and is on Checkatrade. The doors do not fit into the frame, the drawers do not shut properly and there are bits broke off the wardrobe where he has over tightened the screws. He has left a nail sticking out the wardrobe at the back. One awful job.

The issues raised—such as drawer alignment, door fitting, and visible cleats—are all minor and easily fixable. I had planned to return the following day to complete the remaining work and make adjustments, as discussed. However, due to the aggressive and threatening tone during our communication, I felt it was best not to return. There is still an outstanding balance for previous work, which has not been settled. I also requested receipts for the items in question, which were not provided. Instead, the matter was taken straight online without allowing the opportunity to resolve things directly. I always aim to deliver high-quality work and great service, and I take pride in the many positive reviews I’ve received. I genuinely regret that this situation escalated the way it did and would still be open to resolving the matter professionally.
