We recently had a installation of the iLID COBALT SOFTENER 750L (SS76) by Softflow Softeners. Our overall experience throughout was that we were treated professionally and circuitously from the point our initial enquiry, through to the finish of the installation and the aftercare regarding the app to monitor the unit was dealt with quickly and clearly. We would therefore recommend discussing your requirements with the team at Softflow Softeners and find what is available to save your domestic appliances, taps and other products that can be effected by hard water and limescale.

Hi I moved to Essex from the Welsh borders where the water is naturally soft in 1987. I was horrified with Essex water - you needed to clean the scum off a hand basin etc every time water was used. I purchased a unit then and have never been without softened water since !!

Follow some research we decided to have a water softener installed and decided on Softflow Essex Ltd. From 1st phone call through site survey to fitting & commissioning all we met or spoke to were pleasant, polite & knowledgeable. Installation was completed without fuss and tidily, protecting our flooring & carpets including route from front door to work site. We’ve now had the water softener several weeks & all works well. We had a Water Softener and a separate Reverse Osmosis (RO) unit fitted by Softflow at the end of Sept 25 and one month later we are very pleased. The limescale has disappeared from our kettle using RO water and limescale is no longer visible in our showers (softened water), our skin is softer but most of all we are much less anxious about the limescale damage building up in our heating system. All fitted efficiently in one day in a cupboard next to the under sink cupboard. It was very useful to be given samples of softened and RO water to taste beforehand before committing to installation.

This is the second install we have had from Matt and the team at Softflow. Living In the hard water area (Maldon/Essex) I can’t recommend having a water softener enough. Everything to do with the site inspection to the salt ordering is so simple and in this day and age there is a reason companies survive - good product with fantastic customer service. Many thanks

The process from start to finish was great! Professional, courteous and knowledgable at all times. Softflow installed a water softener and it has made the world of difference. Less usage of cleaning products as well as shower gels, shampoos etc. Obviously the softer water is kinder to your appliances as well. Expensive, but a worthwhile investment! This company is highly recommended!
