  Replacement of Storage Heaters

  I recently had MCI Building and Electrical Services Limited replace my outdated storage heaters with modern, efficient units, and I couldn’t be happier.   Fire Alarm Replacement

  Simon had done some work for me before and I was very happy for him to come back and replace my mains fire alarm. As on the previous occasion, he knew exactly what he was doing, he explained my options to me and he made the whole process really straightforward. I would definitely use SNH Electrical again.

  Reliable and value for money electrician

  Simon is always on time and very reliable. We have used him for 10 years and he always die s a great job. This particular job was to install 2 outdoor sockets and change an old gas fire switch to a normal plug. Very competitively priced as well.

  Kitchen lights flickering. This turned out to be due to faulty non branded bulbs

  Kitchen lights had always flickered. At any one time only 3 out of 6 lights (in 2 lighting fittings), worked. The electrician who installed the fittings said there was nothing wrong, but the lights always flickered. He never made any suggestions about what caused this. Simon said straight away, there was nothing wrong with the fittings. The bulbs were the problem. For LED lights it’s often best to buy quality branded bulbs. Went out and bought branded lights (over twice the cost of the bulbs I was using), but every light lit up and has stayed lit. I can now use the kitchen when it’s dark.
