I submitted a request for help estimating the cost of an extension. They were super quick to respond and very helpful.

Steve and his guys Matt and Phil are the builders you want,they worked really hard, on time and on budget.Steve made everything run smoothly and came up with some really good ideas along the way improving the house to a very high standard and were very professional. I liked the way that he made good suggestions and carried them out without fuss,they were great to have on site we are absolutely delighted with the end result and would highly recommend SMR Construction

Steve and his team, Matt and Phil did a fantastic job with our renovation project. I would fully recommend them. Steve handled and managed all aspects of the project, he has a keen eye for detail and suggested improvements throughout the process. He was happy to create high quality bespoke items for our house from just photos and sometimes just ideas in our heads! Always in communication, him and his team were a pleasure to have on site.

Steve was quick to respond to my initial message and had a positive, 'can do' attitude from the start. He adapted to revised plans (after planning refusal) and requoted. He suggested smart ideas that maximised space and gave sound advice throughout the build. The SMR core team of builders and the tiler were excellent. They had a strong work ethic and worked at an impressive pace (and they were fun to have around). The old house threw us some challenges which added pressure to the workload, timings and budget but which were resolved quickly and efficiently. SMR did a great job.

Thanks to Steve's project management, deliveries were all on time so no delays - it helps that he seems to know everybody in the industry. Steve and his team (Phil and Matt) are fantastic. So friendly, genuine and great at what they do. I would highly recommend Steve to anyone. Standard of work carried out was high and nothing was ever too much trouble. Before Steve started work it was supposed to be a simple garage conversion, but because we liked and trusted him so much I have now asked him to sort out other electrical issues in the home, re model our driveway, fix a hole in the ceiling, and recommend someone to re render the house. Steve went above an beyond, very happy.
