We have employed Smiley Carpentry on two separate occasions, one for a kitchen/dining room renovation in 2023 and recently for a new roof in 2025. The kitchen/dining room came in on time and to the quote. We also had some bespoke carpentry done. This included a bench seat and bookshelf/cabinet. The roof was completed recently, only delayed by one week due to the storms. We found all of the employees of Smiley Carpentry to be friendly and helpful. We would whole heartedly recommend Gavin and his team.

Gavin and his team did a really good job. They kept us informed of progress every step of the way. The kitchen is lovely and the finish is great it’s the small things which matter. The painting & tiling is everything I ask for. Really pleased with the kitchen it will make a big difference to my life.

The work carries out was to an excellent standard. The company were friendly, professional and communicative. All costs were clear before the work started and any unclear aspects were communicated and agreed before starting work. The area was tidied and cleaned each night and they were respectful of our house. I could not recommend a company more and will use them for any future work.

From the beginning of the build Gavin and his team shared the plans and talked me through the process along with timings for completion. They were flexible, extremely tidy and always on time arranging all different tradesmen to fit in with my working hours Even with extra work that I added in half way through the build the whole process was excellent and I will be definitely be using the firm again for any future work. They were prompt, came to see what was needed. and their price was very reasonable. The young carpenter, Harris, was very polite and tidy and helpful.

The job was done on time, to the agreed specification and with the minimum of aggregation to us. This company is to be fully recommended.
