  Investigation into electrical circuits tripping in the house, remedial work and certification.

  The electrics in the house have tripped with no pattern on a number of times since August 2022. Steve undertook a forensic investigation into the potential electronical fault, identified issues, provided practical recommendations to address them and addressed them at a reasonable cost in a very short timescales, working around our availability. Very professional and personal, would highly recommend Steve to anyone looking for an electrician. I've known Steve for 6+ years, and no job is too small. Sorting out our oven, hob and lights in our living room on different occasions over the years.

  Electrical upgrades to new home

  Work carried out for me in my new house by Steve Daws including: Replace old consumer unit; upgrade old lighting fixtures in garage, outside area and roof ensuring safety; all new sockets and ceiling pendants; upgrade spot light fittings in kitchen and bathroom; upgrade central heating thermostat; timer on heated towel rail; issued Electrical Installation Certificate and Building Regulation Certificate of Compliance. Steve has excellent electrical experience, he does not take shortcuts, he is fully informed of current regulations, keeps time and is tidy. He is trustworthy and works quietly

  Replacing 2 existing external wall lights and installing 1 new external light

  Steve is a complete professional. He responded to my initial call very promptly, provided advice on the positioning of the new light and quickly carried out a very neat installation . I cannot recommend too highly.

  Various jobs including fixing ancient halogen lights that weren't working.

  Steve has been our electrician for decades. He's completely reliable and trustworthy in every way. He's re-wired large parts of the house, put in electric heaters, fixed lights and sockets that weren't working, put in a new fuse box, put in outdoor sockets and probably loads of other things I've forgotten. He always turns up exactly when he said he would and does the work in a reasonable time frame and accurate to his quote. His work is always excellent. He's also a very pleasant chap!
