Faulty dashboard

Electrical problem with my dashboard was identified swiftly. This was sent off for repair, returned and installed at a very reasonable price. A subsequent issue with the battery (car hadn't been driven for a while) was followed up free of charge snd resolved in minutes. Certainly recommend Steve's services.

After obtaining quotes from local garages I decided to go with Stephen. His quote was competitive and his checkatrade score was good. He lived locally so if there were any problems he was minutes away. Collected car on time , returned car same day and bought back replaced parts to show me condition. I moved the car later that day and the engine warning light came on. A problem with the stop / start. Stephen came back next day , rectified the fault and the car seems to be fine. I will give it a good run next week. I have now asked for a full service quote for my wife's car

I used to take my car to Halfords but always felt like they did the bare minimum and on several occasions I had to take the car back after they'd created a new problem as a result of fixing something else. Steve is a breath of fresh air. He comes across as professional and knowledgeable, turned up on time and completed the work agreed in order for my 10yr old Golf to pass its MOT. He also found the source of, and fixed another issue (caused by Halfords Im sure) that other garages told me would need expensive diagnostics checks to resolve. I will definitely be using Steve in future.

Fixed girlfriends Mini and also gave my S2000 a full service and replaced clutch.

My girlfriend had an issue with her car and a mechanic had previously tried to fix it and came up short. Stephen came round diagnosed the issue, gave a quote and ordered the part within about 20 mins of turning up. Also gave my s2000 a full service, replaced the clutch and sorted several other issues I had with it. Very nice guy to deal with and will be using him for any future work needed!
