We commissioned new stairs. The craftsmanship of the stairs was good quality. But the finishing was very very poor. If you use the Smart Wooden Stairs company please make sure you have it writing your expectation. Otherwise please use a another company ... Design services:A combination of a passion, creativity and years of experience allows our team to gather your imagination and needs, marry the two, enabling them to provide a truly unique experience.
Our Team will assist you through a series of consultations, from the initial site visit, where they will gather the technical information and requirements so that they get an understanding of the finished product. The next stages we will assist with the choice of materials and the overall design. Once agreed we will schedule a delivery date, all the while ensuring that any alterations are fully catered for.
Manufacturing:With many homemakers returning to the more traditional designs for their interiors, Smart Wooden Stairs encompasses, not only the modern technology of staircase construction but with our skilled team of joiners, embraces the "old school" methods, ensuring the longevity of the build.
We select only the best quality wood, from sustainable sources, our waste is recycled into wedges, blocks and pellets keeping our footprint to a minimum.
CNC Technology:Quality, Precision and Passion are the three values at the heart of Smart Wooden Stairs success, these values are applied throughout the company, but no more so then in the manufacturing process, that is why we have invested thousands of pounds in the latest CNC technology.
Working from CAD drawing our CNC machine will cut every mortise, housing, even dowel hole to a fraction of a millimetre, eliminating the prospect of human error.
Skilled operators, trained in every aspect of CNC operation will inspect every component of the staircase at every stage. Continuous operation allows speed and accuracy, guaranteeing every project is delivered on time, every time.
