10 Bespoke oak bannister

Scott was so helpful from our first chat, he came round and chatted to me about my ideas and seemed excited at the idea of helping my ideas become reality. He was confident in what he needed to do and talked me through it, his quote was clear and very well priced. He started the job and we were impressed the whole way through, he is a skilled joiner, turns up when he says he will and tidied up at the end of the day. We are absolutely thrilled with the bespoke oak bannister that Scott has made for us. Scott was very professional and did an amazing job fitting a glass staircase. He did such a good job that he is going to replace my windows and doors. He even fitted some door handles at no extra cost and refitted a door that didn’t close without me asking. Hi welcome to my profile I am time served carpenter/joiner. I am fully competent in all aspects of carpentry/joinery and have a wide range of experience from working on new builds to completing full house refurbishments. I also have a great power team of other trades to take on any job. I'm very passionate in my work and set my workmanship and values very high. I will take on any jobs big or small.
I completed my apprenticeship back in 2008 working for a well established joinery contractor working on big development sites both commercial and residential throughout the northwest this consist of traditional and trussed roofs, chamber joisting and staircases, 1st, 2nd and final fixes and decking builds to name a few.
After 6 years I then moved onto the upvc side of the trade installing composite doors, upvc windows, fascia, soffit and gutter replacement for 5 years. I then wanted to see the world and I moved over to Australia where I was building timber framed houses for a property development firm in Melbourne. I spent 4 years out there where I met my partner who's originally from Northern Ireland and had our 1st born child we decided to come back to England to be closer to family.
Since back from Australia I've been subcontracting to several builders and property developers refurbishing houses, working on extensions and loft conversions and converting commercial buildings into residential property, I have also done my own private jobs I've built several luxury garden rooms for customers and built some beautiful decking builds both timber and composite. Now I feel its the time to work for myself and use my skills and experience to provide Checkatrade customers with their dream home improvements. I love to build and transform property and it gives me much fulfilment to see a smile on a customers.
