In Summary Skylar Solar are a customer focused team of experts, installing the best equipment to a high standard – couldn’t be happier I used them to become greener! Call them now! I started my solar journey with Andy Martin at Skylar Solar and he is the most knowledgeable and helpful guy I’ve ever worked with. He was so patient and answered every question I could think of and came up with several configuration ideas that other companies wouldn’t even consider. I got several other companies to quote me and they just didn’t impress me like Andy did! Install was quick and done in 8 hours!

A real pleasure to deal with everyone from Skylar Solar. After agreeing the system and price I was contacted by Devon to arrange convenient time to carryout survey the guys that turned up were very friendly and helpful. Devon then contacted me to arrange a convenient date to have scaffolding erected again both guys were very friendly and 2 days later Luke and Lewis arrived and installed the 16 Hyundai panels, Growatt hybrid inverter and 3 x 3.3kw Growatt batteries within the day they done a great job and left my house clean and tidy and removed all the packaging. Great company - really organised and friendly admin team; quick, efficient, respectful engineers. There were some unforeseen difficulties beyond anyone's control, and Skylar handled this really well.

System that was installed has been fantastic. That's the only good thing. Extremely poor/lack of coms. Had tradesmen arrive on property without our knowledge, 2 times no-one even showed up for the appointment, bird guard was forgotten off the order, weren't shown plans of panels which resulted in scaffolding being erected incorrectly as well as the number of panels they quoted being less. Signed off all electrical work as completed and safe when by chance we found they hadn't even wired the earth cable, came back but with no tool and loosely screwed it in. Was quoted 1 day install, it took 7 days.

Really pleased with the work done by Skylar. We had a few hiccups getting the work arranged (unavoidable circumstances on both of our parts!) but Skylar were very helpful and informative throughout. The installation itself was done very efficiently by a team who were extremely cheery and communicative. We're very excited for the better weather in the summer!

Initial quote speedily dealt with by Harry, once accepted, survey about a week later. Due to a postponement by another customer was offered installation within 5 days. Installation carried out by Luke, starting on 4th August, a two day process as he does it on his own. 11 Hyundai solar panels, Growatt hybrid inverter and Growatt 6.5kW battery. First class job. Scaffolding erected day before installation and removed day after. Documentation has taken while to arrive but completed on 12th November, thanks to Payton for completing. Skylar are one of few installers worth dealing with.
