  Would not use again

  Barry was initially very responsive and available to start the work relatively quickly for a reasonable price so we booked in. All was initially fine but his communication style was unprofessional. He told me he had taken a risk with the carpenter he used for the job because he had not used him before. When I asked him to ask the carpenter to clean up a mess he had made outside the front of my house when he was coming to finish the job he sent me a screenshot of the message he had sent to the carpenter saying “FFS” and “she’s doing my nut in”. We asked him not to finish the job after this.

  new partition walls and repair jobs

  Barry did an excellent job on the partition walls and having some door locks replaced. Communication was easy throughout and Barry made sure everything was done to a very high standard

  Lay concrete pad for large shed

  Excellent friendly service from start to finish. Site was left clean and tidy at the finish. I was given regular updates whilst the work was being carried out by phone text and photos. I would not hesitate to recommend SKS construction.

  Bay Window structural repair.

  Finally found someone that does what they say they're going to do, is on time, and charges a reasonable price. If I had questions, Barry would answer them in a way that would cut through my inexperience and wasn't condescending. Barry kept me informed of his availablity and any scheduling changes. In future, when I need any general building or construction done, I'm not going to have to research who to hire, I'm going straight to Barry. I'm loyal to those who take their job seriously and take pride in their work.
