SkilledBuild were fantastic from start to finish on our rear extension and half house renovation. The work included a larger kitchen, lounge, hallway, new porch and downstairs shower room—all completed to a high standard with quality finishes. We aimed to transform our 1910 property by combining the small kitchen and dining room into a spacious kitchen-diner. From our initial meeting with Paul, his professionalism was evident. He and his team expertly executed our structural engineering plans, maintaining a tidy and friendly work environment. Regular updates kept us informed, even during weather-related delays for brickwork. This construction marked the final touch to our home, flawlessly carried out by Paul and his team, leaving us thoroughly satisfied.

We are extremely happy with our extension done by Paul and his team. Paul has an amazing eye for detail and even things that end up hidden were always done perfectly. After some dreadful experiences with builders, SkilledBuild was a blessing. The whole project was completely managed by Paul himself and from start to finish, we didn’t need to get involved whatsoever. Could not recommend them enough!

Levelled and painted garage floor; altered drainage outside garage and replaced tarmac where a trench was dug; replaced insulation in the void under the house; repaired guttering; patch pointed mortar on patio; re-attached cable that had come adrift at front of house. Paul and Kai did a first class job working their way around the frequent wet weather and always keeping us informed as to when they would be on site. They were a pleasure to have around. We would certainly use them again and would recommend them to anyone.

I cannot praise Paul and team highly enough. The quality of their work is exceptional, including bespoke carpentry - and their quote was very competitive. There were some challenges - e.G. Dodgy existing roof and tricky access to my back garden - which were accommodated cheerfully and in a timely manner. As well as being really good at his craft, Paul was excellent at keeping me informed of what the week ahead would involve and responding speedily to my queries. Paul and team were always polite and nice to have around. I’ll certainly use Skilled Build again for any future work
