Taylor at Skill Co is a great communicator, with excellent office back up for sending quotes, invoices etc. it felt like a very timely, personal service throughout from him and Shane, ahd I often received redlonses well out of ordinary working hours. He came in person to assess the job - the only company on Checkatrade who offered to do that (he told me he doesn’t take jobs without seeing them first), turned up bang in time to start the job, brought youngsters with him learning the trade, and was an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout. Highly recommend and will use again myself.

I recently had my 4-bedroom apartment painted by Skillco, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! From start to finish, their communication was excellent — always prompt, clear, and professional. An excellent service from start to finish. We had 5 victorian stone window sills in desparate need of repair and repainting, some with significant erosion. Also a repaint of the rear elevation of the house. Skillco provided a competitive quote within a couple of days and were able to schedule the work within a week. They did a great job. The work was done quickly with no fuss. It was a pleasure to have the lads in the house for a couple of days. They were very accommodating to our needs and minimised any mess. Would have no hesitation in using them again.
