2 projects undertaken by Simon and Ian, a substantial extension to the house and a large workshop + car port. Workshop is 6.3m by 6m Simon originally costed it as per the plans for brick/block, came out too expensive. Plan altered to be cladding covered timber frame, costings in line with my thoughts. Very pleased with both projects Simon and Ian work well together and take account of customers requirements. Both can be relied upon for sound advice/answering customer's questions. One aspect I love is that they will make suggestions and look for cost savings whilst delivering a quality product

We are absolutely delighted with Simon and his team. The old garage was demolished, removed and the replacement built quickly and efficiently. Nothing was too much trouble, problems quickly and effectively overcome, and the finished build simply looks quality. The team worked tirelessly from early morning until the end of each day, considerate of our home and the fact we still lived here keeping the site clean and tidy throughout, including a good tidy and sweep at the end of each day. In summary a quality job completed quickly, neatly and to budget. Strongly Recommended.

We were very pleased with out extension when it was finished. SJW Contracts gave great care and attention to the main structure and the details. They were very considerate to us and our architect and took on board any comments we made, or helped us in decision making. The two partners made a consistent workforce so we were always dealing with the same people. Their subcontractors, electrician, painter etc. Were also very good and neat workers. We would definitely recommend SJW Contracts for any building work.

SJW contracts did a great job. They provided a fair quote, the standard of their work was good, they came to work when they said they would. They were tidy and asked for input to the build when decisions were needed. The team were polite and friendly and worked hard. They came back to sort any snagging issues too. Would highly recommend.

Really pleased with the end result of a garage conversion, developing a larger living area and kitchen remodelling which also included the installation of bi-fold doors. The project was delivered ahead of time and on-budget, the team also helped with unrelated matters such as replacing a damaged fence, guttering and laying porcelain tiles at the front and rear of the property; all with the minimum of fuss and admirable professionalism.

Simon and Ian are genuine hard workers , friendly and amenable to any changes / add ons made during the build. Any issues that arose that were not foreseen were dealt with promptly without fuss. Very please with quality of workmanship and final result. I would deninately use them again.
