  Sam did a great job on two occasions. He arrived to start the work when he had said he would, and completed the work in good time, completely clearing up before he left. He is pleasant and friendly to have in the house, and made sure that the work was exactly as we wanted it. We have no hesitation in recommending him

  Bookcases & Cupboards

  Sam has completed a number of jobs for us over the past few months - building two bespoke bookcases, a floor to ceiling kitchen cupboard and office shelving as well as various smaller jobs such as fixing doors and repairing a broken sideboard. All have been done to a very high standard and level of finish. Sam is a great communicator, making suggestions for improvements and always letting us know when he would be arriving. He always left the place clean and tidy each night and took away all the rubbish. He is great to have around and we would highly recommend him.

  Fitting a new hardwood threshold for our front door

  Sam measured up and ordered a custom hardwood threshold for our front door. He removed the existing degraded sill then worked patiently with tight clearances to coax the new one into place perfectly. He cleaned meticulously, took away the rubbish and siliconed very neatly to seal around the threshold. Beautiful job, thanks Sam.

  Bespoke carpentry and kitchen renovation

  Wow, what can I say. Just wow. Sam had everything spot on accurate. Looks absolutely amazing. Sam built a bespoke cupboard and has renovated my kitchen. Such a funny and articulate guy. Tenacious. Courteous. And tidy. I wouldn’t hesitate to book him. I have already rebooked Sam to do another job.

  Fit stair rail to match existing rail

  I needed a second stair rail as it was difficult to climb the stairs with one only. The existing had been there for 30+ years. Sam sourced an identical piece of wood and stained it with the exact colour as the original, using identical fittings to attach it to the wall. A really professional job carried out with a minimum of fuss. I would have no hesitation in using him again.
