Stephen fitted our new kitchen. Not a simple task as the room was far from square, with sloping ceilings and floors and walls that are all over the place. With great patience he set about getting the base units and wall cupboards level, and square at all the corners. He did such a good job that the drawer and cupboard fronts sit perfectly aligned and with evenly spaced gaps between them, no mean feat! We have used Stephen many times before to build cupboards in our sitting room, bedroom, hallway and garage as well as doing general carpentry work. He is always the perfectionist.

Steve built alcove cupboards and a wardrobe for us and paid great attention to detail and did an excellent job.

This is the third time we have asked Stephen to carry out bespoke work in our home. Stephen is able to transform my ideas into reality and the results always surpass my expectations. We will be asking him to return next year to help with our kitchen refit. I wouldn't use anyone else.

Stephen at SJG Carpentry & Joinery was absolutely excellent. From the time that he came to give me a quote until the end of the work, I couldn’t fault him at all. His communication was excellent, the carpentry work also faultless, and my home was left very neat and tidy on completing the work. Absolutely fantastic work and couldn’t be more delighted with the finished piece. Stephen’s work and attention to detail is incredible. Every aspect and detail was thought through and agreed.
