After Britsih Gas tried telling me I needed a new boiler (£3,000), somone recommended Sam Hancock to me. He informed me all i needed was a new pump (£300). Needless to say, he took over the servicing of my central heating (half the price of British gas and more competently done). When Sam told me I needed a new boiler six years later (£1,800, plus new thermostats and piping along the side of the house), only one person was going to get the job. Sam doesn't do work that doesn't need doing, never over charges, and thoroughly checks all work. No one else gets to work on my central heating.

Well impressed with this guy. Turned up and did the work, charged what he quoted and had a very tidy work ethic. 2 family members have since used him and both have said they would use him again.

Sam came and discussed jobs needed and provided very good advice which resulted in the bill being lower than it would otherwise have been for my original request. Not many would do that.! He arrived when he said he would and did an excellent job at the agreed price. Will Sam be my first contact for my next plumbing needs - absolutely. Would I recommend him - yes.

Have used Sam for a number of years now - he's always prompt, polite and efficient.Would recommend him for any type of plumbing jobs.

Mr. Hancock is a very experienced and honest gentleman. We were told by Homeserve that we needed a system flush, but he told us this was not required as we have a one pipe system. His explanation was clear and precise and he has avoided us paying for something that wasn't required. We would definately call him again for a boiler service and any other repair work required in the future.
