Ted came personally recommended by a good friend ( and her friends had all used and suggested Ted to her ) On his initial visit measure and quote he was very likeable, knowledgeable and thorough. I liked that he was keen I shopped around for quotes and took my time. I did just that , 5 other companies. Some quick to comment negatively on their rivals and the products rivals offered. For this reason, the great comms and the quote I chose Ted. Steve the fitter another true gent, so pleasant and respectful of our home whilst fitting and did a superb job . Good communication. Came out the next day to quote and shutters came in earlier than thought. Reasonably priced and did the work quickly and was tidy. Polite as well. Would highly recommend

Great service, fair pricing. Excellent installation team, flexible and reliable. Even managed with ease to adjust one shutter to fit a window we had not originally considered by utilising a shutter we were unable to fit in our kitchen due to an error made by ourselves. Ted arrived promptly and took measurements for my new shutters. We took time together to go through the samples to agree the right colour for the replacement louvres (previous owners dog had enjoyed chewing the lower louvres of existing shutters). Ted sent the quote and I paid the deposit. Ted called when the new shutters had arrived and we agreed the installation date. The work was carried out very well. The installation was done cleanly and all waste removed. We are really pleased with the results. Would definitely recommend Shading Places.

Very friendly service, reasonably priced. Shutters look amazing. Communications fantastic - set expectations on timings and met them every time. Highly recommended.

We would not use anyone else. Ted remembered us from our last house where he fitted shutters to the windows and patio doors and came out very quickly to measure and quote for the new house. Professional and expert fitting was all done on time. Excellent service all round!
