Great survey from Shadbolt plastering. We are in the process of purchasing a property and damp was flagged on our property survey. Nathan sent a detailed report explaining the root cause but other recommendations to keep in mind. We also scheduled a call to go over some questions we had and was impressed with how efficient Shadbolt plastering was. Once we have completed on our purchase we will be getting these issues rectified.

Shadbolt plastering was great from start to finish. It was a smooth process to book them but they were also reliable in getting the investigation sorted when they said they would. We had a previous company give us a quotation that we thought was absurd, so we wanted to get a second opinion. The report was thorough but also the quotation was not eye watering like the previous company.

Nathan conducted a damp survey and confirmed the locations we were having problems. Work was booked in and completely on agreed dates, communication was great throughout. The work was completed to a high standard, in fact the replastering greatly improved what was there. Rooms were left very tidy.

We purchased our house around 5 years ago and no damp was found on the property survey. About 3 years ago we started noticing damp on the ground floor. We had a company come out to do some work externally but the issue has not been resolved. We got Shadbolt Plastering in to get to the source of the damp issue and figure out what treatment would be needed. They were professional and got to the source of problem confirming that the issue is penetrating damp not rising damp.
