  Reliable and great decorator

  We have used Sam before and been very satisfied . Contacted him for a quote to do inside walls of our conservatory . Arranged to have it done the following week . Punctual , tidy and a great work ethic. Finished job looks great .

  Excellent quality work

  Sam repainted the whole interior of our small end of terrace house while it was empty. He was knowledgeable about paints and finishes and what was required after 7 years of tenancies. We were quite happy for him to have a key, we knew he was reliable. We knew he would do an excellent job, and he did. He had done some external work for us before.

  Painting stairway, hallway and bathroom

  Sam was exceptional and professional, effortlessly painting and in good time. Communication was great and was punctual. Was also able to give us help on colour choice which is just what we needed!

  Would recommend to everyone!

  Sam is a great painter/decorator, that I would recommend to anybody over and over again. He painted the whole of my house, upstairs and downstairs and even put wallpaper up in one bedroom, shortly after moving into a new house which helped make it feel more like ‘our home’ from early on. Sam is very efficient at getting the job done in the time frame quoted for, at no expense to the quality of the work. He’s a very reliable, trustworthy and personable person, who is very experienced in what he does. Sam previously worked on my old house and I’d hire him again and recommend him to everyone.

  Pre-listing Decorating

  We used Sam Gard for prepping/repainting several large rooms (kitchen diner, bathroom, large utility), a landing and a main staircase at Nutbourne, prior to marketing property. In all, around 7 days total work across 2 blocks. Very pleasant guy and an excellent standard of prep & finish. Fairly priced, not VAT reg. and we're very pleased overall. Delighted to recommend.

  Lounge, bedroom, en-suite and hall

  Sam wallpapered and painted our lounge and bedroom. He also painted our hall, stairs, landing and en-suite. From quotation to completion his communication and advice was excellent. He has done a wonderful job throughout and was polite, professional and trustworthy. His preparation work was excellent and the quality of the finish is superb. We will definitely use Sam’s services again when it comes to decorating the rest of the house. We would highly recommend Sam.
