  Knocking kitchen & dining room into one

  We were very impressed with Steve & his team. They were always on time, their work could not be faulted. They cleared up at the end of each day, which made living in the house whilst the work was carried, easy. Steve kept us informed throughout the job and we are very happy with the end result. We would happily recommend him to anyone.

  Full refurb of the house+ Creating a kid’s bedroom

  Our house was quite run down and dated. Steve, Mike and the team turned it into a beautiful home. Their craftsmanship was top notch, the quote was accurate and they finished within the promised time frame as well. After job, they left the place neat and tidy. Steve and team were very patient and we felt listened. Would work together again if we need in the future.

  Removal of concrete sectional garage.

  From my initial enquiry until completion of the work today Steve and his team were very professional. I accepted the quote and today the work was done. He arrived promptly at 8am The site was left clean and tidy and took less time than I would have expected. Very happy with the result

  MAJOR CONSTRUCTIONAL CHANGES TO FIRST FLOOR FLAT

  Steve Banks has just undertaken what we considered to be a major project for us which included the removal of a large chimney breast and a number of walls and the insertion of steels in a first floor flat. We cannot fault Steve and his team, they were excellent from start to finish and we would have NO hesitation in recommending S G Banks Ltd. We are now "pausing" for a while whilst the flat is being fitted with new central heating and a rewire BUT Steve will be coming back after these stages have been undertaken. Steve, thank you for your excellent advice and craftsmanship. You are a star !!.

  Kitchen plastering and some minor building work

  Plastering completed to a very high standard. We asked for some boxing in, insulated plasterboard and some making good of some very rough edges where we knocked out a hole in the wall. All done without fuss and very neatly and quickly completed. Will be asking them back for the next plastering or building work we'll need.

  Loft conversion

  The contractor was always available to answer any questions I had. He inspected the work regularly, was considerate and the work was of a high standard. I would definitely recommend him
