  Little care taken and no attention to detail

  Unfortunately, the quality of work for my 1-bed flat was very disappointing. The job took 8 days total and was a mess throughout. While the flooring was covered, there was little care taken around sanding of woodwork (dust everywhere) and when the job was “complete” it took me several days to clean the trim paint off the floors throughout. Walls left in unreasonable state with lots of roller marks and untidy corners/edges. When I presented my concerns, I was told that was because of the colours I chose, even though whole patches of my kitchen were not even painted over once. Disappointing

  Absolutely disgraceful the way they have left my home. They are meant to be professionals. I paid a lot of money to have my home all done in time for christmas. They got paint on my carpet my flooring. Big blip of paint on my front door, my window. All the cutting in is terrible. I’ve got wall paint on my woodwork & woodwork paint on my walls. He also left my 2 smoke alarms taped up. I have 2 kids in the home. I can attach pictures/videos

  We strongly dispute this review and believe it is misleading. On completion, the customer inspected the work twice, confirmed they were happy, and stated they would clean themselves, which is why we worked late to meet their Christmas deadline. We offered several opportunities to return and rectify any issues, which were declined. Concerns were only raised three days later after the customer’s husband returned. A full refund was then demanded but was not upheld by Checkatrade. Following this, we received repeated contact via social media suggesting this would continue unless a refund was issu
