  Required rigid vinyl flooring laying for the back door entrance, adjusted door as well.

  Communication was excellent from start to finis. The work standard was 1st class, clearing up as the job progressed paying attention to the smallest details. Adjusted one of our doors because it was difficult to open (had been for ages) even though this had nothing to do with the flooring he had fitted. Very happy with the time, materials and price.

  Build door frame to fit space under stairs & re-size standard door to fit bespoke size.

  Sam managed to fit us in the week before Christmas, which was very much appreciated. Everyone else had suggested mid-January. Communication was excellent. I asked Sam if he’d take on a couple of small extra jobs which he did with good humour and at minimal cost. I can thoroughly recommend.

  Replacing 3 very old wonky non standard size bedroom doors into non standard door frames.

  Visited house and explained what was needed. On accepting the timely quote, kept us updated at relevant times. Very polite and kept us updated on progress. Cleaned up after each days work. Would definitely use again.

  Building airing cupboard

  Airing cupboard built to house a water tank and surrounding pipework boxed in. The job was complicated by old pipework and electrics but this was managed really well. We were given lots of choices and fully consulted. The work was of excellent quality and Sam was friendly and helpful. The work was completed in good time and everything was kept very neat and tidy whilst the work was in progress. The cost was very reasonable and we would be very happy to employ again.

  Excellent high standard finish

  Sam has done a couple of jobs for us already and we have him booked to fit our kitchen next. We first booked him to build under stairs cupboard, pop out storage and convert our old wooden stair rail into a modern glass one. He always turned up on time, did excellent work, always gave detailed costings, tidied up at the end of each day. The final job is fantastic! It's everything we asked for and the finish is excellent. Sam totally listened to the ideas we had and was able to bring these to life. We think he's an excellent worker and would highly recommend him.

  Installing shelves and units in alcoves

  We hired Sam to build bespoke units and shelves for our living room alcoves and have been thoroughly impressed with his craftsmanship, communication and professionalism. He took the time to talk us through the process and ensured we were happy at every stage. We made a few changes along the way, but nothing was ever too much trouble — Sam was patient, responsive and solution-focused throughout. We’re delighted with the finished result and are already planning to book him for further work. A skilled tradesman and someone we would gladly recommend.
