  Would highly recommend SB plastering, needed a job to be completed in quite a short time frame. He responded quickly to my ad & came out the same day to quote. Very punctual and tidy worker, reasonably priced for the quality of work and time spent on the job.

  Bedroom plastering

  Jim quoted and was ready to start nearly immediately which was refreshing. The job took three days in total where Jim worked alone. The overall quality of the final job was poor. Jim asked me to view the room and there were gaps everywhere and I was told just to fill them in. Now I appreciate that the skirting boards were old ones and I didn't plan on removing them however the plaster hadn't been taken to the edge and just looked quite frankly lazy. We had a (quite heated) discussion and he told me if I'd wanted a perfect job then I should have used someone else.

  Starting the job, I found a messy room and a mattress on the floor that people had been sleeping on.You asked me to clean the room for you, to which I responded with sorry, I cannot, as it was full of your belongings.I told you I will be back in 2 hours if you want to fix the room, which you agreed to.When I came back, I moved the mattress and heavy things for you. then I went to cover the carpet, you said leave it because you will be changing the carpet and screed, and you asked me to take the screeds out for the plaster to go down, but I was not my type of job to do. When I finished, you said I'm not happy with the job and I don't want to pay you leave or I will call the police. I responded with that you have to pay, as I paid for all the materials from my pocket. I then said to you, either pay me or call the police because I'm not leaving without payment. You then said the job is okay and I'll pay you while laughing continuously trying to provoke me.

  From initial contact to completion of job a matter of days. Great service from start finish. Really pleased with outcome of the living room wall. Friendly and polite and worked his socks off! Would definitely recommend and use in future 5⭐️ from us!
