  Converting adjoined garage to a useable room

  I recently had my garage converted by Roy from RussellBuild, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Roy managed everything himself, delivering high-quality work with a friendly and professional attitude. He stayed on top of building regulations and handled all the paperwork, which gave me real peace of mind. We also agreed on a flexible payment plan that suited us both, making the whole process stress-free. The finished space looks fantastic, and it’s clear Roy takes great pride in his work.   Built a beauty cabin

  I had Roy in to build a beauty cabin in the garden, this included footings, ground works, building the cabin from blocks, with flat roof and roof window. This included levelling floors, plastering and skirting boards. All work carried out to high standard and I love it. Roy was, on time, tidy and reliable. Thanks Roy.

  Garage conversion and kitchen dining room knock through and conversion.

  Russelbuild were a friendly company to deal with that kept me well informed with progress and any issues that needed to be addressed. Kept everything as tidy as possible and worked well to their timescales. Would recommend.

  numerous issues lack of urgency and planning , said job would be completed in a month only block work completed no roof no floor and issues raised by building inspector to be completed, walked off site when stage payment was refused unless work was completed wanted paid for internals when nothing had been completed internally or externally

  Firstly, we agreed upon a contract with a scheduled payment plan. The first payment was due upon the completion of the footings up to the damp proof course, which you duly paid on the first day. The second payment was scheduled upon reaching roof height, which you also paid. At this stage, I had progressed further by constructing the framework and installing breathable felt along with the fascias and soffits, all in good faith. Following this, I requested the third payment as per our agreed schedule. This payment was intended to cover the completion of the roof work and internal works. At this point, windows had already been ordered. However, you refused to make this payment and insisted that you would only pay once the entire work was completed. This refusal was in direct breach of our contract and the agreed payment terms. As a result of your breach of contract, I was left with no option but to cease work and leave the site. It was unreasonable and financially untenable for me to continue the work at my own expense when you had explicitly agreed to the staged payments outlined in our contract.

  Kitchen and Shower Room tiling

  Roy from Russell Build laid the tiles in our new kitchen extension plus into the old part of the house and the new shower room. It was a large amount of tiling - roughly 60 sq metres with a lot of areas he had to work around and cut tiles to fit. All neat and tidy too! I can't praise his work enough. It's absolutely beautiful. We had a lot of online conversations before he even came to view and quote - lots of helpful advice and ideas. Every time we walk into the room and look at our new floor tiles, we just can't stop smiling and praising the work Roy has carried out. Thank you Roy!
