Recent plaster repair after a builder put his foot through the loft floor (this is not my plaster work, this is a before photo)
Sanding, sealing and painting with stain blocker, got the ceiling looking good as new.
Crack in the plaster caused by long-term water damage.
Advised customer to replace plaster soon, but in the meantime we dried it out, secured the board to the joists with a couple dozen extra screws, applied plaster and patches, sanded, sealed and painted
A vintage Indian dumbbell stored in clingfilm, however moisture was trapped and it became rotten and mouldy
The mould went deep, customer didn’t want it sanding too much to avoid changing shape. Used bleach solution to kill as much as possible and continued to sand by hand
Applied 3 bleach solutions, sanded, applied 3 coats of walnut stain and applied 3 coats of clear varnish - sanding between every coat. Looks pucker!
Iron fireplace had over 100 years of painting over, the patterns were almost filled in.
WIP an after painstakingly stripping back all the paint, being careful not to scratch the iron. Marks to the side are because the customer wasn’t sure if the surround was also iron.
Job done, treated the iron with rust killer and blocker, painted in a thin coat of metal paint - now the patterns really pop!
Old skirting around shower tray, lots of rot and mould.
After a bit of clean up and bleach treatment, all the mould is dead, ready for new skirting
New skirting applied and sealant - job done
