  Bedroom ceiling & wall plastering.

  I need my 2x bedroom ceilings and walls plastered, as I used RS1 before for flood damage I had no hesitation to reach out and offer the work to them as they already did a 1st class job. On this job RS1 provided a quick quote and workable start date, once the start day came closer, I was contacted for access to my property and they started promptly. The work was carried out to a very high standard and minimal mess (especially from plastering), work was completed in a timely manner and to a standard I am more than happy with. I will have no problem recommending RS1 Construction.

  21 Meters of Fencing

  After the storm, many fences were destroyed, including ours—21 meters needed replacing. Every builder was busy, including RS1 Construction, but Robert stood out by actually coming to quote and scheduling the job instead of brushing us off. The wood arrived Friday, and RS1 started Monday, working efficiently. The result was excellent—far better than my neighbour’s fence. Now, all that’s left is painting, which we’ll do as the weather improves.

  Kitchen and Bathroom project

  I found Robert’s number on Checkatrade and he came out to quote for a kitchen extension. I needed an approximate costing and thankfully Robert was willing to provide a quote which allowed to get the ball rolling with planning. He came when he said he would and has worked diligently in all weathers. He has connected me with other reliable tradespeople which has been a real godsend. I am delighted with his work and, as I am renovating the whole house, I have asked him to replace the bathroom. I am grateful for the advice and reassurance he has given me to undertake this daunting project. Thanks

  New Porch

  Robert was always on time, replied very quickly to all my text messages, kept me fully informed about next steps each time the project was moving on, and made a beautiful porch area I am absolutely delighted with. As we weren't working from drawings, we pulled the design together between us and he came up with some great suggestions. He works hard and takes a genuine pride in his work. I would have no hesitation in recommending Robert and his team to anyone who is looking for building work. We will definitely be contacting him again when we need work done in the future.

  One of the only companies that actually seems to want your business. A quote for the job was given and once agreed it was completed within a few days to a good standard. No issues at all.

  Extension and decking

  Our experience with Robert was fantastic. As you’d expect with any big project we were slightly nervous to start, but Robert eased our concerns almost instantly and we were blown away with the results. His tidiness was especially impressive, and his organisation skills and efficiency meant minimal disruption to our every day lives , far less than what you’d expect from an extension. We are absolutely delighted with the end result and I couldn’t recommend RS1 construction any higher!
