    Boxing in ducting

    The job I gave Nick and Drew was, honestly, a horrible one – boxing in a ventilation pipe that was bigger than anticipated, with them having to navigate three flights of tight spiral stairs. This meant they not only had to bring all their tools and equipment up said stairs, but they also had to climb over the roof on scaffolding with the boxing they'd created. Still, they handled the task with ease and a smile, and the finished result is absolutely fantastic. Plus, they arrived when they said they would and communicated well throughout. I would 100% recommend them and use them again.

    Bespoke media wall

    We hired Drew and Nick to build us a bespoke media wall in the lounge. From quote to clean up they did a fantastic job. The guys were really friendly and skilled and helped us to put our ideas into reality. The end result is a fantastic, functional unit which we are absolutely thrilled with. We would absolutely recommend these guys and use them again. Thanks so much Nick and Drew!

    Remade a broken wood Juliet balcony

    I responded to a business card they dropped.... and really glad I did. Perfect work, they did exactly what they said they would do, they were really good to deal with and you just get this feeling that they love what they do and are truly gifted and unique craftsman. They cleared up very well too 🙂 I rarely write reviews other than when someone's work is really of value.

    Create Detachable Newel Posts For Staircase

    We asked for carpenters with a 'can do attitude' and got exactly that. To get white goods up and down our stairs we decided we needed custom detachable Newel posts that we could remove every time we needed to move a large item up or down. Nick and Drew came to give a quote, talked through what we wanted and then turned up on the day and did exactly what they said they would. Their work is an exceptionally high standard. Their timekeeping superb and communication, clear and concise throughout. They even helped carry an extremely heavy washing machine down for us. A hard job Brilliantly done.

Based within Brighton and covering all of East Sussex, we are a friendly, reliable carpentry company that strives to deliver a high end professional service. With our many years experience we are able to cover all aspects of carpentry from 1st fix through to 2nd fix.


Our ethos is based around thoughtful, precise and aesthetically pleasing work, sympathetic to the style, surroundings and other trades that all play their part in building a beautifully functional space to live, work or socialise within.


As carpenters we believe your final product will only be as long lasting, pleasing to the eye and functional as the foundations that they are built upon. This is why we consider ourselves specialists in 1st fix and somewhat unique in this field of work.

We believe that taking that extra bit of time and attention to detail at the first stages sets up every other trade to deliver their best product possible with minimum hassle, stress and time/material wastage. This includes ourselves when it comes to the 2nd fix.


The time to get things right is from the outset, and from our experience, the 2nd fix is not the stage to start looking at the details. This is the stage when all the careful planning, and precise work should come together to be finished to the highest standard. Making it more hassle free experience for all trades and the client, having ironed out all of the decision making as early as possible.


All jobs that we price will have a full breakdown of costs, leaving nothing to surprise you.


We use a combination of modern and traditional tools and techniques that we have picked up from our years working within the building trade, working to achieve a professional finish in a clean and safe practice. “That will do” is not our philosophy. Our aim is to leave a job that ourselves and the client are both mutually proud of.
