  Loft conversion with Velux windows

  We are about half way through the project to convert my loft into additional living space with bedroom and en- suite. Chris turned up on the date he said he would start the job and has not missed a day since. He and his team arrive promptly each day. His planning of the project has been exemplary, with materials and additional tradespersons arriving to schedule. Disruption has been kept to the minimum and clearing up is done at the end of each day. A further review will follow on the completion of the project.

  Opening up into a kitchen-diner

  We have been very happy with the job that Chris and the team have done with the structural work to open up our downstairs into an open plan kitchen-diner, including all electrics, lighting, windows and French doors, all to our specifications. The work was completed quickly and to a high standard. Everything was complete ready and in time for our kitchen fitter, and Chris made time to return to wire up the additional electrics needed for the new appliances. Really pleased with the transformation.

  Bungalow loft conversion with dormer and Velux windows

  Chris and his team are nearing completion of our loft conversion, including a dormer and Velux windows, and we are very happy with the results. The quality of work is excellent, and Chris has kept us informed at every stage. The building control surveyor praised his knowledge and high standards of work. The team has been very respectful, tidy, and creative in solving challenges as they have arisen. Costs have been transparent, and the project has progressed faster than expected. We highly recommend Chris and his team for any building work!

  complete relaying of driveway to New block paving.

  Rookwood Construction provided a very high quality finish completely renovating our driveway even after finding that the original had been laid without the proper ground preparation. Very courteous and communicative team. Always arrived on time and left the area tidy and accessible where required each day. Very happy.

  Patio laid

  To finish off our extension we had a patio laid. It wasn’t straightforward but Chris, Rich and Shane did a brilliant job sorting out the levels and laying the slabs beautifully with so much attention to detail. We really couldn’t be happier with the finish. They were friendly, polite and kept the area tidy at the end of every day. Would definitely recommend Rookwood Construction and we’d definitely get them back when we need other work done. Thanks guys!

  Garden building for recreational purposes

  When meeting Chris we described roughly what we were after and left the rest to him. He talked us through the outline of the build and then through to the final build spec and finish. We were very pleased with the outcome as it matched what we envisaged and more. His team were helpful, polite and respecrful of our property.
