Flat roof leaking, and still leaking after repair job.

We used Bevan Hughes Jones to conduct a repair to our leaking roof. They came to do it at a cost of £1,750, but a few days later it was still leaking. We contacted Bevan who said he would come and fix it, but he never showed up. We did this on several occasions and he kept saying he would come and fix it, but never showed up. He then started ignoring our calls and hanging up on us. I suffer from advanced Parkinson's so this has been a terrible strain on an already difficult living situation. Avoid this tradesman at all costs.

Repairs to the roof

Inspected roof and took photos. They were honest and truthful and didn’t try and rip us off with unnecessary work. Gave us a time ,date and price and kept to it. Did not ask for cash and gave us a receipt for payment.

Repair the chimney

He never turned up. I messaged twice but he didn’t get back to me until later in the day. The reason for not turning up was that he lady his phone in his friends car. This could’ve been better if he had a diary.

Fascia repair

Company came out to do a quote to repair a short piece of guttering at the front of the property, and two leaks in the guttering at the rear. I was quoted £450 (but was given nothing in writing). Company came out the following week and screwed a piece of uPVC fascia board onto the old rotten wooden fascia, and instead of repairing the leaks at the back of the property, said that they'd unblocked the downspout instead but no reduction in price. I've since been unable to get in touch to get it resolved. not much work for £450, at all. absolutely not recommended

Chimney repair due to previous a previous builder doing a sub-standard repair.

Although arriving early to unload their leaders and equipment, work started on time. William put right the previous dodgy repair which had failed. When asked about our guttering h had a look and sorted that problem to which was very good of him. All told the job turned out to be done at a high standard, pictures of the repair were taken to show what has been done. At each stage William explained what had happened and how he had put it right.
