I contacted Ian at Rodect Pest Control, suspecting a wasp infestation needing attention. Despite the limited details I gave him, he promptly identified the issue as a honey bee swarm. He advised that the bees should either be left undisturbed or relocated, and shared guidance on how to arrange this for free if needed. Ian could have visited, charged a call-out fee, and declined the work. Instead, his principled approach and willingness to provide valuable advice were exemplary. I hope not to need pest control in the future, but should the need arise, Ian and Rodect already have my business

Ian was very quick to respond and very informative of his plan of action for the job, there was no rock left unturned and he managed to get the problem sorted for me very quickly

Ian was super helpful was able to explain how and why we had an infestation. He suggested a few approaches and after a couple of weeks we were rat free! A real pleasure to work with!

We spoke to Ian yesterday and he booked us in for first thing this morning. After an initial look in the loft, 2 traps were laid at 9:30, the squirrel was caught by 11 and Ian was back by 12 to remove the trap and dispose of the squirrel. Ian was very friendly, we’d definitely recommend him to anyone who needs this sort of work doing and we’ll definitely use him again in the future, should we need to.

We had a problem with rats in our back garden and then they'd gone into our garage and shed. Ian arrived as promised, on time the day after my request was published. He set baited traps and, in places where the dog can't get to them, open trays. He re-visited today, a week in and Ian replenised the traps and trays. No dead rats yet but the poison has been going down, so they are eating it.
