I requested a quote to replace an existing parquet floor. Someone came out to inspect and measure up and then followed up with a brief quote. I asked for a full itemised quote via email this was not sent. On following up with a phone call we asked for a full quote inclusive of fitting and supply to be told they would send a full itemised quote for a charge of £100. I think this approach is highly unprofessional to ask a customer to pay simply to provide a quote.

Robert is a reliable and meticulous installer of flooring boards. This was the second engineered timber floor we've had installed - Robert uses robust installation including wood glue and clamps - this should make the flooring robust compared to the squeaky floor we had installed at our previous house without the glue. This is just one of the details we didn't ask for, Robert just knows how to do the job to the best standard. Highly recommend.

Robert was very helpful and provided a lot of helpful advice. The job was quite small (4m by 2m) but he was still willing to assist us in getting it done at a low price. Thanks for all your help.
