    Repointing the front of the house

    Rob has done an amazing job repointing the front of the house! It looks great! Rob took great care to get the right colour of lime to blend in with the old stone. It has been very reassuring having Rob do this work, he gets on with it , he is very organised, friendly and polite throughout the whole process. Thankyou Rob!

    We recently had Rob Maidment complete some work on our property, including building additional courses and repointing and repairing our blue lias stone walls. From start to finish, Rob was professional, reliable, and a pleasure to work with. He communicated clearly throughout the project, offering helpful advice and explaining his approach so we always knew what was happening. His workmanship is excellent — the stonework looks fantastic and blends beautifully with the existing walls. Hello, I'm Rob, the proud owner of RM Stonework.


I started my own stonework business in 2014 after working in the trade since 2001. I specialise in stonework projects only, unfortunately I do not undertake brickwork projects, my main areas are stonewalling, re-pointing and stone wall repairs. I use both lime and cement mortars. I offer a friendly, reliable service within a 20-mile radius of Ever Creech near Shepton Mallet.
