RJF answered a request I placed on check a trade. He was very polite, on time and made notes as we did a site visit together. All work was carried out as requested and in the time frame agreed. I would recommend RJF and would happily use them again.

Russell from RFJ Electrical carried out the electrical work in our extension (new kitchen) to a good standard and provided the required certification. When the plumbers accidentally damaged the earth bonding, he returned to sort it out and made sure everything was compliant before signing off the job. I appreciate that he came back to complete the bonding properly and finished the project without charging extra. Thank you for seeing it through and making sure the work was done right.

He carried out the ten-year electrical safety check on our cottage, discovered that our fuse boards were not up to the latest standards and replaced as part of the work. Highly recommended.

In a 70’s-built house (mid way through redecoration) RJF replaced all the pendant lighting with LED recessed spotlights and updated the consumer unit. Russ is everything you could pray for in this scenario: pragmatic, safe, kept the site tidy throughout, worked to our schedule and budget, and had a great sense for when to call and check something. There was no complaint about weird or awkward things we uncovered that needed solving and the final outcome is a complete delight. 10/10
