  Very happy once again with Richard’s work. Over three years he has decorated several rooms; hall; landing and the outside render (up to the eaves off his scaffold tower). He has been able to deal with underlying damp and cracking of walls and ceilings, taking it all in his stride. I am impressed with his work ethic and attention to detail. Crucially, his pricing is consistently fair and reasonable. Use him.

  External painting

  This was excellent. I was fully informed of his progress. He collaborated well with the carpenter, overseeing the replacement of rotted wood, giving them clear guidance in what was required. He also photographed the completed job to allow me to inspect it in detail. I have no hesitation in saying that I would employ him again in any future painting that I might require. I have no complaints.

  Decorating a bedroom

  Richard was a fantastic person to work with on decorating our son’s bedroom. He stripped all the old wallpaper (at least 4 layers!) without any mess anywhere in the rest of the house, and did a beautiful job of making ready the walls. We slightly sprung in him the request to paint the walls in two colours horizontally, and he did a fantastically neat job of it. A great experience and would highly recommend him.

  Painting Kitchen

  Richard did a fantastic job filling the gaps round the new sockets and painting our kitchen. He was very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend him.

  Kitchen diner decoration

  Richard painted our kitchen diner for us- a complex jobs with so many fiddley areas. He was so easy to communicate with, saved us the hassle of buying the paint (we just chose the shade!) he gave great advice on good quality paints to choose from. Richard was very pleasant and respectful of the fact I was working from home and didn’t disturb me. He worked hard all day, did a very neat job and we were happy to have it done all in one day so we could put the room back together. Will use again, thanks Richard.

  Painted balustrade, skirtings, door frames over three floors

  We were impressed by Richard from the moment he came to quote. Extremely pleasant, friendly and had a very good eye for detail whilst looking around at what needed to be done. We had other competitive quotes but we really warmed to Richard. Whilst here, Richard was such a pleasure to have around. His workmanship was second to none, attention to detail was spot on and he did a very thorough, neat job on all the woodwork including prepping and priming. Richard will be our 'go to' decorator from now on! And..our dogs aren't keen on unfamiliar men, but they loved Richard! Thanks again Richard!
