  Acceptable finish, but stressful and poorly managed

  Romario’s price was reasonable and transparent, and he could start at short notice. However, the overall finish was merely acceptable and the experience was very stressful. Project management was reactive, with issues raised late and decisions pushed to us under pressure. A 20mm gap between extractor and quartz splashback was left unresolved, with debris/screws left under units causing floor scratches. Near the end, he blamed us for “changing the plan” and made a “this is not how this country works” comment, which I found deeply inappropriate.

  Wing, as you have blocked me, I do find this review largely inaccurate. Where did you get “this is not how this country works” from? As a European man myself, I would never say such a thing when the country had nothing to do with the work carried out. Secondly, the scratches and debris throughout the work that you said we did not protect are irrelevant because you said you are getting this replaced when the kitchen is complete, and you told me not to worry about it. Now you are blaming me for damage when I followed your instruction.

  Kitchen refurbishment , re-tiling of walls, new worktops, sink unit fitted and plumbed in.

  from the start Romario and his team talked us through the job every step of the way. They were very punctual and and completed the job within the time specified. the price I paid for the work was the price I was quoted at th.e start . We were very happy with our kitchen refurbishment and would use them again.

  Fantastic work

  Romario and the team did a great job in my flat. I needed insulation installed, internal and external doors fitted, radiators replaced, electrical work, a new skylight fitted and external paintwork repaired. Everything was delivered to a high standard and I’m very pleased with the result. Romario was easy to get hold of and communicated well throughout the project. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Romario and team and will use them again in the future if the need arises.

  I recently had my flat renovated by Romario and honestly, he was amazing from start to finish. Super reliable, easy to communicate with, and genuinely cares about the quality of his work. He kept everything tidy, stayed on schedule, and the final result was even better than I expected. It’s so refreshing to work with someone who’s both skilled and just an all-round great person to have on a project. If you’re looking for a builder you can trust, I can’t recommend Romario enough!
