I can thoroughly recommend Janis (Renova Renovations). He carried out the work diligently, in a friendly, helpful manner, paying great attention to detail; starting and completing the project within the timeframe that we agreed. The project entailed stripping out the original bathroom fittings; repairing damaged flooring and joists; fabricating a vanity unit for the washbasin; tidying up underfloor plumbing installing a new shower tray, glass panels, new wc, and washbasin; laying new flooring and coverings, and cleaning up on a daily basis. He tackled all trades competently and cheerfully.

Janis was a great help at fixing a plumbing issue I had. He took on the job and offered a very reasonable day rate as it was unclear what the problem actually was at the start. He quickly got to work, was always on time and located the issue. Pipes were then rerouted and the plumbing issue fixed. Can’t fault the work he done and I know it was not an easy job but he powered through and got it fixed.

Janis and Kris worked tirelessly on two projects: one to convert a cupboard into a second toilet and the other to fit a light shaft into a closed bathroom. Good natured, pleasant and flexible in their approach, they communicated well throughout. Their skill and effort produced excellent results on time and within budget. Highly recommended.

Our experience working with Janis was outstanding from start to finish - he communicated very clearly and consistently and did a really excellent job. He has very high standards, an excellent eye for detail and asked all the important questions we hadn't thought of! He's also a great guy with a good sense of humour. We wouldn't hesitate to work with Janis again and would happily recommend him to anybody looking for reliable, high quality work for their home improvements project.

Janis came to our rescue and did an amazing job of converting the garage into a beautiful bedroom and wet room. Previously I had managed to find the worst builder in Scotland who left a terrible mess Janis took on the job and restored my faith in builders I can highly recommend him, his work is immaculate with great attention to detail.
