Janis was excellent from quote to finish. He took his time to understand the vision, measure and provide a quote which was close to the final price. Renovating a 1950s semi-detached that needs some TLC brought some unforseen issues but he communicated these clearly and nothing was ever too much trouble, including work on the roof that I knew about but had been quoted much moreto rectify! His attention to detail is first class, he communicated his availability over the course, arrived on time every day and was tidy. Just make sure you have plenty of coffee as he likes a double scoop!

I can thoroughly recommend Janis (Renova Renovations). He carried out the work diligently, in a friendly, helpful manner, paying great attention to detail; starting and completing the project within the timeframe that we agreed. The project entailed stripping out the original bathroom fittings; repairing damaged flooring and joists; fabricating a vanity unit for the washbasin; tidying up underfloor plumbing installing a new shower tray, glass panels, new wc, and washbasin; laying new flooring and coverings, and cleaning up on a daily basis. He tackled all trades competently and cheerfully.

Janis was a great help at fixing a plumbing issue I had. He took on the job and offered a very reasonable day rate as it was unclear what the problem actually was at the start. He quickly got to work, was always on time and located the issue. Pipes were then rerouted and the plumbing issue fixed. Can’t fault the work he done and I know it was not an easy job but he powered through and got it fixed.

Janis and Kris worked tirelessly on two projects: one to convert a cupboard into a second toilet and the other to fit a light shaft into a closed bathroom. Good natured, pleasant and flexible in their approach, they communicated well throughout. Their skill and effort produced excellent results on time and within budget. Highly recommended.

Our experience working with Janis was outstanding from start to finish - he communicated very clearly and consistently and did a really excellent job. He has very high standards, an excellent eye for detail and asked all the important questions we hadn't thought of! He's also a great guy with a good sense of humour.
