Alex & his team worked at our home over a 6-month period from late 2023 to mid-2024. The job involved a rear & side ground floor extension to our Victorian home along with a comprehensive ground floor renovation to create a large open plan kitchen-lounge-dining space, downstairs toilet and hallway. Right from the initial quote I felt Alex’s approach & communication were honest, reasonable and detailed. Costs & payment dates were clearly structured, extras (of which I requested several) were fairly addressed. I found the work to be of a high quality and am certainly happy to recommend them.

Excellent service from Alex and team. Estimated start date spot-on. The rendering was problematic, needing the removal of existing rendering and reconstructing degraded brickwork. Alex liaised frequently and ensured we could see what were the problems and what would happen daily. The team themselves worked assiduously and for long hours, sometimes in semi-darkness, to ensure they finished before Xmas. Facade now looks great. Little snags with one window: Alex asked us to withhold part payment until they were (quickly) resolved. That’s very good customer service. Price was good VFM.

Great from start to finish. It was a relatively small job I’d imagine but he was in constant communication about what was needed and gave us good advice on how to solve ventilation issues. He broke down his quote so we could pick which bits we wanted to do. Then was flexible with us when we found issues along the way. Work completed to a high standard. Also would stay to get things finished in a day rather than leave at 3pm, as other builders we used did. Meant it finished bang on time. Would not use anyone else now. Excellent throughout.

Alex and his team were great from start to finish. Alex was the only builder to give a detailed quote that was broken down for each bit of the job. Alex was also very accommodating when we decided to get more work done and when we had a delay with the bifold doors we ordered separately. Would definitely use them again for further work on our house

I received excellent service from Alex and the guys from the outset. I had struggled to get a quote from floor specialists, who only wanted to use their own choice of wooden panels i.e. supply and fit. Alex and his guys were all capable and knowledgeable however, and did a fantastic job. The quote was prompt, and Alex genuinely wanted to know what I wanted as a customer, working to keep the old fireplace tiles by producing a very neat wooden border around them, and replaced the old skirting boards. Great workmanship, polite, friendly, and reliable! Everything spot on.

Right from the word go Alex and the team have been great! In the early stages, Alex was very helpful in the discussions with the architect. During the building work, the builders were very tidy with their work and it was completed on time within the initial quoted 4 months to a high standard. We had two young children at the time and the kids were excited to get waves and smiles from the builders each morning which made the disruption of building work much easier to manage. We would certainly recommend them to anyone having an extension done
