Reading Groundworks renovated our patio and laid new matching stone and brick to build a new path and paved area around the side of the house and conservatory. Our uneven, blackspot and weed-riddled patio has been totally transformed, and it really does look just like new. The area around the side of the house is now all on the same level, with the drainage issues sorted and a drain inspection cover that matches the stonework. This is the second job that Steve and his team have done for us and we are very happy that they take great care with both the big things and with the small details.

Reading Groundworks made a careful inspection of the site, taking time to discuss options and considerations with us and observed some points not considered by other potential contractors. The specification for the works was detailed, thorough and fully costed. Communication was excellent throughout. Steve and his team were friendly and considerate and kept working through the freezing January rain: a great pleasure to work with.

Steve and Adil worked hard to replace and reset 4 x damaged grid covers in my driveway. Steve replaced those covers that were beyond use and reinforced all the inspection chambers as well as fixing in the new ones. They left the site tider than when they arrived, took time to make the job not only repaired as requested, but finished to a high standard and also resolve some of the levelling issues on the driveway. Would not hesitate to recommend again for any future jobs.

Steve and his guys did our driveway with permeable paving, adding an additional space and ‘landscaping’ different levels. It looks amazing! We completely trusted their advice and Steve was great at answering our questions and guiding us re colours and designs. From the moment I messaged Steve he has continued to provide prompt responses and kept me informed. The team- Steve, Dil and Bailey were polite and helpful when they were fixing my fence posts and landscaping my garden. They tidied my garden and swept the driveway leaving everything neat and tidy. I cannot recommend them highly enough! I am so pleased with the results and quality job they’ve done.
