    Repeat customer - tiling & decorating

    Ryan has carried out numerous jobs for us including extensive tiling and lots of redecorating. He goes above and beyond to achieve a perfect finish. He is competitively priced, very courteous, clean and tidy. All the jobs have been completed to such a high standard that we wouldn’t use anyone else and now he has completed plenty of jobs for our friends and family.

    Replastering and redecorating

    Ryan did some replastering and redecorating of our sitting, dining, utility rooms and kitchen last year. We were so pleased we asked him to redecorate our hall, stairs, landing and study this year. He worked efficiently, arrived on time, cleared up after his day, was open to last minute requests and very flexible in meeting our needs. We wouldn't hesitate to use him again or to recommend him to anyone.

    I highly recommend Ryan, his pricing suited my budget the quality of his workmanship was top notch. Ryan is a really nice guy, always polite, punctual and great quality workmanship and constructive advice in tile selection and finishing ideas. Ryan tiled my entrance and kitchen/diner flooring and two complete bathrooms, including plastering of the ceilings and squaring off the walls. The job was completed withi the original planned schedule. I definitely highly recommend Ryan, and will definitely use his services again in the future.

Hello all potential customers and trades.


I'm Ryan Davies of RD Precision Finishes based in Fleet, Hampshire and I'd like to tell you a bit about myself and my work.


I've worked in the building industry since leaving school in 1995 and have been plastering for the past 25years. I did 5 years training with a very reputable local plasterer before venturing out on my own 20 years ago. I was taught many different aspects of plastering such as skimming, removal of Artex, floor screeding, dry lining, plaster board tacking, Artexing, coving, rendering and more.

I also undertake all manner of tiling work and have a keen eye for detail. I got fed up of seeing my customers receive poorly executed tiling jobs, so 15 yrs ago decided to learn the trade myself. I get a huge satisfaction transforming bathrooms, floors, splashbacks etc. I also work along side a very good plumber, who is also a Checkatrade member. Together we carry out full bathroom re-designs to the highest of standards.


I pride myself on a good clean job and never leave a customer unhappy. When it comes to my work I take a lot of time protecting customers homes, you won't catch me just laying a few dust sheets on a floor. I take the time to lay polythene which then gets tapped around the skirting boards before laying cotton sheets, the last thing I want is my customers returning from work then having to clean up after me. I professionally mask all kitchens and bathroom suites in the same way as I do floors.


Over the past 20 years I've managed to build up a great customer base without advertising with many returning customers and small builders I work for regularly. I enjoy my job and I think, if you enjoy a job you'll always make it a good one. I've joined Checkatrade in the hope that I can build an even larger customer base and maybe expand my business one day.
