Rob and Richard did a fabulous job transforming our garden by paving a long flight of steps and rendering several walls. All the materials—paving slabs, sand, cement, and more—had to come through the house and up the steps, but that didn’t phase them. Both are cheerful, punctual, and keep everything neat and tidy. Their workmanship is superb. I would definitely recommend them.

Rob was great. He was a great communicator, turned up at appointed time and gave a quote very quickly. He worked to suit our timings which were not easy and did a really excellent job at the price quoted. We would thoroughly recommend him.

Rob and Richard did an excellent job painting the outside of my house, replacing fascia boards, guttering, drainpipes, plus a few broken roof slates. Along the way, they cheerfully added some extras I thought of such as making a new shed door and frame, mounting bird nesting boxes under the eaves and drilling a bicycle lock bracket into the paving stones! The work was completed quickly and efficiently and to a high standard, with minimal disruption and mess. Price was extremely reasonable and I could not be happier. Highly recommended!!

I contacted Rob and his father, George after reading the great reviews on Check a Trade. Rob was very prompt at returning my call and arrived at my home at the agreed date and time. Their knowledge on rendering was excellent. They helped me with arranging scaffolding and arrived on the date agreed to commence work. These two worked their socks off on our job and the results are excellent. I now have them booked in to help us with building and plastering works on our renovation project and would certainly recommend them to others

Rob and his dad Richard did a beautiful job on broken-down artex ceilings. They arrived promptly to give a quote that was very reasonable, showed up when they said they would and worked efficiently over two consecutive mornings to complete work on a bedroom and the awkward landing, hallway and entrance lobby ceilings. Communication was prompt before and after and they worked quietly (no radio!!) and cheerfully. The result is excellent; smooth surfaces, sharp corners, very neat edges and no mess. I would highly recommend them!
