A technician arrived within a couple of days and confirmed that the electronic control board was damaged beyond repair. I was very quickly informed that it was uneconomic to buy and fit a new board, which would take four weeks in any case to arrive.

Initial telephone response quick, polite and helpful. Problem was assessed within 48 hours and problem with electronics swiftly identified. Unfortunately cost of replacement electronics board proved prohibitive ((at £229!), so new dishwasher was obvious solution. Overall, good service and at reasonable call out charge of £75.

I was contacted within 30 minutes of posting request for someone to fix my oven. I was given a quote and my oven was fixed the following morning for the agreed price. Checkatrade is easy to use and comes up with local qualified tradesmen for you to choose from and they they get on and do the job quickly at the agreed price and even clear up afterwards. What more could you want

Ashley promptly responded to my request on Checkatrade and saw me within a day or two (it would have been sooner but I wasn't available). He was quick to identify the problem and took the time to explain the options available to me to fix it. He got everything working again and was able to take payment by card there and then. I will definitely be using R&R again in the future.

Very satisfied, got a call on a Sunday to quote and book the job, a few hours after I submitted the request to Checkatrade (Stef was friendly and courteous) and they came out Monday morning before 10am. I didn't get the engineer's name but he was efficient and quickly identified a leak from a chafed hose. Didn't have a long enough hose to replace ours so carried out a repair to the hose itself. So far so good! They could have charged more and invented problems that didn't exist, but in the end I was only charged for the call out, which wasn't that much. Highly recommended!
